Financial services + accounting
Recordkeeping-grade AI for advisors and accountants.
SEC examiners ask whether you can produce, on demand, the books and records showing what your AI tools did, when, and on whose behalf. Most AI tools can’t. GoodHelp produces hash-chained records and signed evidence — designed for the same scrutiny you live with.
Records, fiduciary duty, and tax-season scale.
- SEC Marketing Rule recordkeeping requires you to retain records of AI-assisted client communications.
- Fiduciary duty disallows fully autonomous agents for financially material actions.
- Tax season demands operational scale you can't reach with linear headcount.
- CPA standards require evidence trails that survive personnel turnover.
Controls designed for the scrutiny you live with.
Rule 204-2-aligned records
Hash-chained action ledger captures AI-assisted communications in a form designed to support recordkeeping requirements. Verify suitability with your CCO and counsel.
Fiduciary-respecting approval gates
Material actions can be gated for principal approval per SoD policy. Enforced fail-CLOSED (SOD_REQUIRE_AUDIT_AVAILABLE=true): if the SoD audit context is unavailable the approval is blocked rather than allowed.
Tax-season scalability
Run the same workflow many times with full action-ledger evidence per run. Per-engagement scoping keeps each client’s run isolated.
Per-client records isolation
Each engagement’s records are scoped at the application layer — an export for Client A cannot return Client B’s data. Architectural detail (per-org sub-collections, routing-layer enforcement, not Firestore-Rules enforced) on the Trust Center.
Built on controls regulated buyers ask for.
Action ledger, KMS-rooted signing key
Evidence pack — verify offline with the public key
Cost cap; rolling-window caps not marketed today
Where RIAs, CPAs, and fractional CFOs put us to work.
Marketing-Rule-aware client communication drafting
Agent drafts, principal reviews, the archive captures the chain. Every output has a hash-chained record before it leaves the platform.
Quarterly performance reporting helper
Assembles data, flags anomalies for CCO review. The CCO stays in the approval loop on anything material.
Client-onboarding triage
KYC document classification with full action ledger. Every classification decision is hash-chained and exportable.
Tax-season form helper
Multi-client form processing with per-engagement scoping. The same workflow runs many times; each run has its own ledger and signed evidence pack.
Compliance-calendar agent
Surfaces upcoming regulatory deadlines for the team to action. Read-only — does not autonomously change calendar invites.
What CCOs, RIAs, and CPAs ask first.
Can your action ledger satisfy Rule 204-2 recordkeeping?
It's designed to. The action ledger is hash-chained and exportable as a signed evidence pack (JSON manifest plus body, KMS-rooted signing key). SEC Rule 204-2 requires 5 years (first 2 readily accessible) for advisers; our Regulated-Industry profile defaults to 7-year retention and is configurable per-engagement if your firm's policy is the statutory minimum. Verify suitability for your specific recordkeeping requirements with your CCO and counsel before deploying.
What about Marketing Rule (Rule 206(4)-1)?
Client-communication agents drafted by GoodHelp pass through principal review before going out — the archive captures the chain (draft, principal review, final output). The platform does not auto-detect testimonials, performance claims, or hypotheticals that would trigger Marketing Rule disclosure requirements; principal review is the supervisory layer. Substantiation for factual claims is your firm’s responsibility. We will route you to the underlying claim file for diligence; final suitability is your CCO’s call.
Can the AI make trades or move funds autonomously?
Material actions are designed to require principal approval per SoD policy, configurable per agent. Enforcement is fail-CLOSED (SOD_REQUIRE_AUDIT_AVAILABLE=true): if the SoD audit context is unavailable the approval is blocked rather than allowed. Review the precise current behavior and configure with your CCO before connecting any agent to a fund-moving system. Mercury, our reference banking integration, is read-only today.
